If you’re landing on this page, there’s a good chance you’ve been sent my way by a past client who said something along the lines of “You HAVE to work with Alison. She knows what she’s doing, and you’ll actually enjoy working with her.”
I don’t take these kind words nor referrals for granted, and I’m looking forward to connecting with you.
Most of my clients arrive to our first conversation feeling a bit anxious or stressed (or both) about the process and final monetary outcome. If that’s how you’re feeling, know that it’s my job to put you immediately at ease. I’ve been called a “House Sherpa” because I listen intently, give straightforward recommendations, and walk you through every single part of the process.
While I initially started my career as an attorney–which makes real estate law, negotiation, and client advocacy all strong suits of mine–I’m the opposite of zipped up and stuffy. I recognize that home buying and selling can be a stressful process and you can absolutely count on me to bring hard data and my “trusted advisor” hat to every conversation. But I also equally blend fun and humor into the process.
Over the last nine years, I have been a real estate agent for clients at every price point and every size house, and my clients have been thrilled with the results I’ve gotten for them. Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer or you’re a grandparent wanting to be closer to your grandchildren, or anything in between, I’ve got you covered. I am known for my honest and direct guidance, my strong partnerships with vendors who can Easy Button getting your home ready to sell, my “always on it” communication, and how fantastic my listings are presented online and in person.
I find that my clients are usually kind, highly intelligent, and of course have specific opinions, but at the end of the day completely trust me to receive and implement the advice that I provide.
Personally, I enjoy rock climbing, biking, taking grand adventures to explore the great outdoors, hosting my friends in my backyard around the fire pit, experiencing all the culinary deliciousness that Durham has to offer, and being an overly obsessed dog mom (I have been told I’m both a dog and toddler whisperer).
Come see me at our Durham office!
