Relationships are key. The connections I have with my clients are for life … And I can’t wait to meet you!
I come to real estate from a diverse professional background that includes more than 13 years in the outdoor retail industry as a store owner, manager, merchandiser, and buyer. My passion for helping people navigate big decisions – and keeping it light and fun – owes as much to my retail background as it does to my early career experiences coordinating volunteers and athletes for Special Olympics, and as an art therapist working with adults with mental illness.
I moved from coastal South Carolina to Carrboro in 2010 to be a part of a more welcoming community for LGBTQ+ families. My wife, Sunny, is an art education professor at UNC-Greensboro, and together we have a blended family of so many teenagers I’ve lost count, three cats, and a black lab mix. When I’m not scoping out houses, I’m playing the drums, gardening, or making art.
Customer service is my number one priority. I have great relationships with industry vendors and contractors, and together we work well to relieve the stress that comes with these pivotal moments in life. With tireless energy, creative spirit, and good humor, I do my best to make buying or selling a home as exciting and painless as possible. Let’s do this!
